Management & letting rights is a service industry and additional income can be derived through:
- additional caretaking tasks – some times the body corporate requires caretaking work, outside of the agreed caretaking agreement, to be performed. This work is quoted by the manager and the body corporate then approves and pays for this work.
- property maintenance – simple tasks such as changing a washer, or old shower head, realigning a door, installing new fly screens can be performed by the working manager instead of engaging a professional contractor.
- internet services – includes the provision of an internet connection and management of bandwidth.
- cleaning services – includes end of tenancy cleaning of a tenants unit, known as a bond clean
- unit sales – listing an owners unit for sale and selling the property
